Locally owned, and here is what that buys you

Every trade puts the phrase on a website, so it is worth saying what it means in practice rather than as a slogan.

The owner lives in Chandler. The truck sits here overnight and the drive to your house is counted in minutes, not recovered somewhere inside a quote.

Two consequences that matter. There is no travel loaded into these rates, which is part of why one figure holds across all six zip codes and why it can be published at all. And if something is not right after we leave, we are ten minutes away rather than slotting you onto a route across the Valley next month.

Why the pricing works this way

Because this trade has a reputation and the pricing model is most of the reason for it.

The standard approach is an advertised figure low enough to get somebody through the door, an inspection, then a considerably larger number once the registers are off and your morning is gone. It works because the customer cannot verify anything.

Per-opening pricing removes that. Walk the house, count vents, calculate our price, check it against anybody else, and know before we arrive what the job costs.

It is not generosity. It is the only model in this trade a customer can audit.

Flexible air rod system with whip head ready for use

What we will tell you that costs us money

Sometimes you do not need this

No new construction, no odor, no dust at the registers, no pets, no rodent evidence, and a filter changed on time. Leave it. We would rather say that than take $700.

Your filter matters more than we do

A good filter changed on schedule does more for the air in your house than an annual duct cleaning. That argues against our own service and it is true.

The health claims are not supported

The EPA's position is that duct cleaning has never been shown to prevent health problems. Every company in this trade knows it and most market as though it were otherwise. Ours is on its own page.

What we actually do

  1. Look at the system together. Count openings with you, check the filter and returns, and give an honest read on whether the job is warranted. On some Chandler houses it is not.
  2. Get inside it. Registers come off so the work happens within the runs and the trunk, not in the first arm's length that anybody could reach from a stepladder.
  3. Break the material loose. A flexible rod with a whip head travels the run and lifts what has bonded to the duct wall, rather than merely relocating whatever was already free.
  4. Pull it out of the building. Negative pressure runs the whole time, so what comes free exits rather than settling in the next room along.
  5. Grilles and registers. Actually cleaned, not wiped over, since the grille is the only part of this you look at daily.
  6. Before and after, same run. You see the difference rather than hearing about it.

What we are not

Not an HVAC company. If the upstairs will not cool, if something smells at every cycle, if there is water where it should not be, cleaning ducts will not solve it and we will say so.

Not licensed for mold remediation. Visible growth is a separate trade with separate requirements, and misting over it would cover a problem rather than fix one.

We do not carry certifications we have not earned, and there is no badge on this site that does not mean something.

Chandler only

One town, which is why we usually know what we are walking into. A Sun Lakes system has probably never been opened. A 85286 house still has drywall dust in it. A house near the Square has ductwork that was never part of the original design.

Questions

What happens when I ring?

You give us your opening count and we give you the price on that call. No inspection visit and no figure that appears later.

What hours?

7am to 8pm, and same-day is often possible because the drive is short.

How long will you be here?

A half day for most Chandler homes. Large properties with two systems can run most of a day.

Will the price change at the door?

Only if the count was wrong, and you hear it before we start. If you said 12 and there are 15, you decide.

Do you do HVAC repair?

No. If what you need is an HVAC company, we will say so rather than cleaning your ducts and leaving the real problem.

Licensed for mold remediation?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Visible growth is a different trade.

Card accepted?

Yes, with a receipt by email or text.
